This site will feature all the latest news in the Melbourne culinary world – from new restaurant openings to fresh food markets as well as recipes, reviews and critiques of dining in Melbourne. It’s news, it’s reviews and it’s all in good taste! This web log is part of a project run by four undergraduate journalism students at Monash University.

About Us

Sheila – 21, Second year Arts student at Monash University, Caulfield campus, majoring in Communications & Visual Culture. Having decent meals is one of the most enjoyable things in my life. I love discovering different layers within one dish, being surprised by new ideas and tastes, and enjoying junk food a lot as well!

Joel – 22, Third year Arts student at Monash University, Caulfield campus, majoring in Journalism, with a minor in History & Criminology. I like foods from all different cultures and parts of the world and I love trying new (and strange) foods I’ve never tried before. I’ve eaten roasted fireflies, horse, dog, duck brains and drank snake blood…

Teagan – 20, Third year student at Monash University, Berwick campus, Journalism/Communications major. I love fresh, gourmet foods but have a severe addiction to anything sweet. I’ve traveled around France, England, Germany, Indonesia and the United States and I’ve learnt that the best way to discover a country and it’s culture is by taste.

Jhermaine – 22, Third year student at Monash University, Caulfield campus, majoring in Journalism & Behavioural Studies. I love all foods, sweet and savoury, have trouble saying no to anything edible. Just like I love spicing up my life, I love everything spicy, my latest addiction is Papaya salad originating from Thailand.
